How you can help

Volunteer

Wings4Kidz provides a free flight service for children in regional communities, who have serious or life threatening illnesses and are required to travel to major city based hospitals for treatment. The team volunteers their time and skills to provide this service,  100% of donations go directly to support the flights with no administration or wage costs deducted.

Wings4Kidz is always looking for people to help the team provide this vital services to regional families. Our main area of volunteering is ground transport and fundraising. If you are able to help us in this area or would like to get involved with fundraising, please get in touch with us!

The Late Mail Ride

Each year a group of generous people get together to tour the East Coast of Australia on their postie bikes, to raise much needed funds for Wings4Kidz. The Late Mail Postie Bike Ride started off as a ‘few’ mates getting together to do a Postie Ride and raising money for a needy charity. After 7 years the ride has fundraised approximately $1,035,000. All of the proceeds for the ride go directly to supporting the Wings4Kidz flight services and are essential to our operations.

Fundraise

Wings4Kidz is always looking for people to help us fundraise to support our work. There are many ways you can fundraise, from organising a cake stall at your local Bunnings, holding a morning tea to raise funds at home or even asking for donations to be given through GiveNow in lieu of a birthday present! We are so grateful for our generous fundraisers.
